Thanks for reading.

I shouldn't admit this, but the worst grade I got in any journalism course was a B or B- in copy editing, the result of me not being able to create an attractive page when I was assigned to do the layout and things didn't seem to fit in the right place. Precise headlines were only part of the problem.

Great headline, John. As to typefaces, I use Comic Sans for emails and Times New Roman for writing. So I am comfortable with or without serifs. But it makes no sense for the Trumpkins to be messing with typefaces at the same time as they are blowing up the world, obviously just to undo something Biden did. Anyway, Little Marco’s directive on typefaces isn’t nearly as troubling as what he is almost certainly planning for Cuba.

Exactly my feelings about Trump and his fellow thugs. And I too am comfortable with or without serifs. Been a really long time since I've though much about typefaces.....

Yet another pleasant stroll down memory lane. When my daughter was enrolled in a DIFFERENT journalism school in the 90s, I often told her what she was missing to not learn to count headlines.
